What is 9/80 work schedule?

A 9/80 work schedule is a popular work schedule that comprises eight nine-hour workdays, one eight-hour workday, and a day off spread across two workweeks. As per this routine, employees need to work 9 hours each day starting from Monday to Thursday. While Friday is an 8-hour workday, where fours from this day are included for the first week, and the remaining four hours are included in the second week. The second week also has a 9-hour workday from Monday till Thursday. However, Friday would be off this week.

Monday: 8: 00 am to 12 pm; 1-hour break; 1: 00pm to 6:00 pm
