Shortlisting is the procedure of the identification of candidates who perfectly meet the criteria concerning responsibilities that were issued in the listing for the particular job or working position. Shortlisting allows the employer to get suitable candidates shortlisted to move forward in the process of recruitment with those shortlisted candidates.

The shortlist consists of the shortlisted candidates who are suitable for the job in the company/organization.
